Last week I already introduced you to the anthropocene campus and to the theme of sound and listening
On the second part of the walkshop we decided to listen to the lagoon: yes, to the sounds going on underneath (no, we are not crazy). I already spoke about the issues of underwater noise , and recently a new report of the European marine board came out This week I have been at the anthropocene campus . There will be more coming from this intense week with plenty of philosophical discussions that fully inspired me. What follows is a short reflection on the silent walk done in preparation for our ‘walkshop’
I have been silent but no worries - I am still here fighting for a life where humans are in harmony with the rest of the planet...
As an anticipation for next Saturday's post I can say that I am attending the anthropocene campus in Venice this week, so you'll likely hear all about it.. yesterday's plenary session was by Amitav Gosh - I can't wait for this book to be out! you can find a great review and an excerpt of the nutmeg's curse here It has been a while since my latest podcast updates
