Basically, if you want to meet a scallop on a much deeper level than just grilled on your plate - then i definitely recommend this title! Stephen Palumbi - the Death & Life of Monterey Bay An inspiring story , from degradation to restoration. If you want to understand more about our impacts but also are in need of some optimism.. then this is for you! Mark Kurlanky - the big Oyster Yes, another mollusk book (yes, I am obsessed) but this takes in much more of an historical and cultural perspective. So if you are looking to take on a complete different perspective on your favourite dish.. go an immerse yourself in this!
